Game 4

The Sharks got off to a slow start, but exploded for four goals in the third quarter on their way to a 5-2 victory over the maroon team. Despite a muddy field the Sharks really looked good, passing the ball and working together on both sides of the field.

Luke scored a goal in the first quarter, and then Amber (2 - got credit on an own goal off Nate's corner kick, and then scored one of her own), Grace and Jake added goals in the third off of assists from Nate and Matthew. Matthew, Liam, and Luke provided goalkeeping behind a strong defensive effort by Sophie, Izzy, and others. The real key to the game was the way the offense was playing as a team, gaining many chances to score by proper spacing and excellent passing.
